    MK Series Rotary Clamp Cylinder

    SOLH MK (commonly named MKB) is a combined pneumatic cylinder integrating 90° rotation and linear downward clamping, interchangeable with mainstream MKB series. Bore sizes cover φ12~φ63 and clamping strokes range from 5 mm to 50 mm. Its overall length is shortened by 3~10 mm compared with conventional MK2 models for more compact layout. The allowable inertia torque is upgraded threefold to cope with high-speed clamping of high-inertia workpieces, and the maximum clamping force of φ63 bore reaches 12.4 kN under 0.5 MPa for reliable heavy-load holding. Working cycle: retract upward → 90° left/right rotation → extend for clamping; release follows reverse sequence. Fixed 90° rotation angle with tolerance ±5° ensures stable repetitive positioning. Except φ20 and φ25 bores with 2-side sensor mounting only, other sizes support 4-direction magnetic switch installation for neat wiring without interference. Through holes and double-end threaded holes enable direct mounting and flange installation. Double-side rubber buffers reduce impact, vibration and noise; oil-free design satisfies clean & dust-free working environments. Built-in magnetic rings work with position sensors to monitor clamp/release status; clockwise RZ and counterclockwise LZ rotation directions are optional. It is widely applied in machine tool fixtures, welding positioning, stamping fixing, precision 3C components, semiconductor tray clamping and fixture flipping limiting. It simplifies mechanical design and saves installation space by integrating rotating and clamping functions. Select bore size with clamping force ≥ actual load × 1.5 safety factor and reserve 3~5 mm stroke margin to avoid mechanical collision.

All sizes come with magnetic rings; even the minimum Ø4 variant supports dual M9 series magnetic switches for bidirectional position feedback. Hard anodized aluminum barrel and NBR seals enable oil-free operation with service life over 3 million cycles and steady bidirectional thrust. Widely used for short-stroke bidirectional push-pull applications such as micro component ejection in 3C industry, button durability testing, precision instrument fine-tuning and miniature actuators for medical equipment. A minimum 30% load safety margin shall be reserved during selection. Choose single-acting CJP if spring return is required, and CJ1 ultra-mini cylinder for extremely confined ultra-light load space.
