SF6 Gas Circuit Breaker

Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) is a good gas insulator. Its typical application is gas insulation in high-voltage switchgear of power supply systems. When the sulphur hexafluoride gas encounters high heat and high temperatures(e.g. arc), it produces hydrogen fluoride and sulphur dioxide gases, which coexist with undecomposed sulphur hexafluoride gases.
