    SOLH MHZ2 standard-stroke and MHZL2 long-stroke parallel air grippers are fully interchangeable with equivalent SMC models. Driven by symmetric dual pistons and precision linear guide rails for synchronous jaw movement, they deliver ultra-high repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm with bore sizes 10/16/20/25 mm. Three actuation modes are available: D double acting for maximum clamping force and continuous mass production; S single-acting normally open, which automatically releases workpieces upon air cut to avoid crushing at hot stamping stations; C single-acting normally closed with spring holding force without air supply to prevent workpiece drop for overhead robot handling. A full range of interchangeable jaws (narrow, thin flat, side tapped for extended fixtures) and multiple body port layouts (standard side port, end side port, axial push-in port) are optional. Built-in magnetic rings work with M9BW reed switches to transmit open/closed position signals to PLC interlock systems. MHZ2 features short stroke and high cycle speed up to 180 cpm for tiny miniature parts, while MHZL2 adopts extended guide rails for wide opening stroke to handle deep-cavity molds and large thick plates. All jaws, fittings and sensors are cross-compatible between the two series. Widely deployed for PCB & chip sorting, precision hardware loading/unloading, packaging clamping and workpiece transfer at robot end effectors in 3C, hardware and packaging automation lines.
