What is the function of the Okken Low Voltage Switchgear secondary connector?
The secondary connector (usually called secondary connector or control circuit plug) of Schneider
Electric OKKEN series 0.4kV low-voltage switchgear is the core component of its modular design
and plays a key role in system integration and operation and maintenance.
OKKEN secondary connectors materials meet the requirements of industrial durability and
electrical performance:
Conductor part Pins: Phosphor bronze gold-plated (thickness ≥ 0.5 μ m), reduce contact
resistance (<5mΩ), anti-oxidation.
Terminal crimping piece: Brass tin-plated, supports more than 500 plug-in and pull-out lifespan.
Insulation Cover
Base: Flame-retardant engineering plastic PA66+30% glass fiber (UL94 V-0 grade), temperature
resistant to 120°C.
Shell: Nickel-plated aluminum alloy (IP40 protection) or reinforced nylon (IP20), impact-resistant
and corrosion-resistant.
With silicone rubber sealing ring to meet IP54 protection (plugged status), with dust and
moisture proof.
OKKEN special design features:
Anti-misinsertion structure
Key slot positioning + color coding (such as communication port is blue) to avoid wrong insertion.
Self-locking mechanism
Screw-type lock design, will not loosen in a vibrating environment.
Hot plug support
