What are the 35kV high voltage insulation series?

The 35kV high voltage insulation series is a key technical system to ensure the safe operation of medium and high-voltage equipment in the power system, and is widely used in substations, transmission and distribution lines and industrial power equipment. This series of products mainly covers core components such as cables, insulators, bushings, and lightning arresters. The core of its design is to achieve a comprehensive balance of insulation performance, mechanical strength and environmental adaptability through high-performance materials and structural optimization.

In the field of cables, the 35kV high voltage insulation series often uses cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) as insulation materials, and effectively controls the electric field distribution through a multi-layer shielding structure. At the same time, it has high temperature resistance and anti-aging characteristics to meet long-term operation needs. Insulators are key components of overhead lines. The 35kV high-voltage insulation series includes both traditional porcelain insulators and composite insulators. The latter uses a silicone rubber umbrella skirt with a glass fiber reinforced plastic core rod to significantly improve the anti-pollution flash capability, which is particularly suitable for harsh environments such as coastal and industrial pollution.

In terms of equipment connection and protection, bushings and lightning arresters in the 35kV high voltage insulation series also play an important role. The epoxy resin cast bushing uses precision mold forming technology to ensure the uniformity of the internal and external electric fields and avoid the risk of partial discharge; the lightning arrester uses zinc oxide valve plates with silicone rubber jackets to achieve the dual goals of rapid discharge and weather resistance.

In recent years, with the development of smart grids, the 35kV high voltage insulation series has also gradually integrated digital modules such as partial discharge monitoring and temperature sensing to provide data support for status assessment and preventive maintenance. It is worth noting that when selecting this series of products, external factors such as altitude, humidity, and pollution level must be comprehensively considered, and its insulation margin and reliability must be verified through simulation calculations and type tests, ultimately ensuring that the 35kV high-voltage insulation series can meet the requirements of national standards such as GB/T 311.2 in different application scenarios, building a solid barrier for the stable operation of the power system.
