GN19-12(c) series indoor AC high voltage isolation switch is suitable for AC 50hz,rated working voltage of 12kv, 10kv, rated working current of 400A, 630A, 1250A power system, as a voltage and no load under the condition of breaking, closed circuit indoor switchgear.rated voltage 12kv and below power system, equipped with manual operation mechanism, used for switching electrical appliances under the condition of voltage but no load, There are also dispatched to produce anti-fouling type, plateau type and live display devices that can be installed. GN19-12 series indoor high voltage isolating switch is an indoor device with rated voltage of 12kv and three-phase AC 50hz.

    The conductive part of GN19-12/400, 630, 1000, 1250 type disconnect switch is fixed on the base by two pillar insulators for each phase. (GN19-12C/400, 630, 1000, 1250 type has one pillar insulator and one porcelain casing insulator.) The three phases are installed in parallel, and the conductive part consists of static contacts of contact knives and contact holders (or conductive rods). Each phase of the contact knife are connected to the middle of the tie insulator, tie insulator and installed on the base of the spindle connected. The spindle is connected to the connecting rod (user-provided) and CS6-1 type of moving mechanism through the handle. The connecting contact knife is composed of two slotted copper plates, which not only increases the heat dissipation area of the contact knife to lower the bottom temperature, but also improves the mechanical strength of the contact knife, so that the dynamic stability of the switch is improved. One end of the contact knife is mounted on the contact block (or on the conductive rod) by a bolt (car of Shaw). Types of Medium-Voltage Isolators

- Outdoor Medium-Voltage Isolators: Capable of withstanding natural factors such as wind, rain, snow, dirt, condensation, ice, and frost, suitable for installation on outdoor platforms.

- Indoor Medium-Voltage Isolators: Suitable for indoor environments, typically requiring higher insulation performance.


Based on the structure of the insulation support, they can be further divided into:

- Single-Column Isolation Switch: Directly use vertical space below the overhead busbar as electrical insulation, saving space, reducing connecting conductors, and providing clear disconnection states, particularly suitable for ultra-high voltage transmission.

- Double-Column Isolation Switch: Suitable for higher current demands, providing greater stability.

- Three-Column Isolation Switch: Suitable for more complex power systems, offering better load capacity and reliability.

Operating Steps

Power-On Operation: First close the isolating switch, then close the circuit breaker or load switch.

Power-Off Operation: First open the circuit breaker or load switch, then open the isolating switch.

When selecting an isolating switch, ensure that its rated voltage, rated current, dynamic stability current, and thermal stability current meet the requirements of the application. The primary role of the isolating switch is to disconnect circuits with no load current, allowing for safe maintenance. Before operating the isolating switch, ensure that the circuit breaker has disconnected the circuit.
