AC / AD / ACD / ACA / ACJ Series Hydraulic Shock Absorber
SOLH AC, AD, ACD, ACA and ACJ hydraulic shock absorbers are fully compatible with Airtac specifications, model coding and installation dimensions for seamless replacement. This product range includes fixed multi-orifice, manually adjustable, bidirectional, auto-compensation and adjustable auto-compensation types, catering to simple cylinder buffering, variable load conditions, forward-reverse robotic transfer and high-frequency precision automation. A wide selection of thread sizes, buffer strokes and impact caps (plastic, iron or capless) helps absorb impact energy, suppress vibration and noise, and protect mechanical structures from collision damage, supporting bulk equipment cost optimization with stable delivery.
SOLH AC / AD / ACD / ACA / ACJ series hydraulic shock absorbers are mainstream pneumatic buffer dampers, fully compatible with Airtac model coding, mounting dimensions and performance parameters. Direct drop-in replacement for imported buffers, with competitive cost and shorter lead time for volume machine cost reduction.
This family covers fixed damping, adjustable damping, bidirectional buffer and auto-compensation types, widely used for cylinder end cushioning, robotic transfer mechanism, rotary actuator, automation fixture and high-speed handling equipment to absorb kinetic impact and reduce vibration, noise and mechanical collision damage.
High frequency, high speed, heavy load, precision equipment requiring fine tuning
5. Model Interpretation Examples
•AC1416-1N: Fixed multi-orifice, M14 thread, 16mm stroke, high-speed light load, without buffer cap
•AD2020-2: Adjustable type, M20 thread, 20mm stroke, medium speed medium load, standard buffer cap included
•ACD1630: Bidirectional shock absorber, M16 thread, 30mm stroke (no speed & cap suffix)
•ACA1412-2: Auto-compensation non-adjustable, M14 thread, 12mm stroke, medium speed medium load, plastic impact cap
•ACJ2020-F: Adjustable auto-compensation, M20 thread, 20mm stroke, iron heavy-duty impact cap (no speed code)
6. Selection & Operation Guidelines
1. Select series first: Confirm whether damping adjustment and bidirectional buffer are required according to working complexity
2. Match thread and stroke: Thread size must fit mounting hole; buffer stroke must be shorter than total mechanism travel to avoid hard bottom collision
3. Speed & load matching: ACA models select grade 1/2/3 by speed and load; AC/AD/ACD are pre-engineered for rated condition
4. Impact cap selection: Plastic cap for general use; iron cap for heavy load / high frequency; N type no-cap when space is limited
5. Installation note: Apply small amount of anaerobic thread locker, PTFE tape is forbidden. Manually test after installation to ensure smooth piston movement without sticking
7. Replacement Note
SOLH AC/AD/ACD/ACA/ACJ shock absorbers adopt identical naming convention, mounting dimensions and performance curve as Airtac. Direct drop-in replacement for imported dampers, with lower cost and faster lead time, ideal for mass equipment cost-down projects.
