AF800 / AF900 Large Capacity High Air Filter

SOLH AF800 / AF900 large-bore high-flow main line air filter is fully interchangeable with equivalent SMC models, equipped with G1¼/G1½/G2 ports and maximum rated flow up to 20000 L/min, designed for air compressor main pipelines, full-line centralized air supply and high-flow multi-valve island pneumatic systems. Built-in centrifugal pre-separation structure removes over 95% condensed water, rust and large particles in advance; multi-layer fiber filter cartridges offer optional precision from 2μm to 100μm with standard 5μm for general use. The 45 cm³ water bowl supports three drainage modes: manual drain, AD47 NC float auto drain and AD48-6 NO float auto drain. Three bowl types are available: standard impact-resistant transparent PC bowl, heavy-duty metal bowl and explosion-proof metal bowl with liquid level sight window, while metal variants are recommended for painting, lithium battery explosion-proof and oily machine tool harsh environments. Hard-anodized aluminum body with straight-through runner delivers low pressure drop. Matched with AR regulators and AL lubricators to form complete AC800/900 air service units, widely installed at the front of air compressors for large CNC clusters, lithium coating workshops, auto painting lines and chemical explosion-proof plants, protecting downstream solenoid valves, cylinders and vacuum ejectors to reduce overall pneumatic system failure rates.

Product Overview

     SOLH AF800 and AF900 are industrial large-caliber high-capacity main pipeline air filters, fully dimension & performance interchangeable with SMC original AF800/AF900. Designed for air compressor main air source, whole production line centralized air supply and multi-valve island high-flow pneumatic systems. Different from small split air service units AF200/300/400, they feature oversized flow channel, ultra-high treatment flow and large capacity water collection bowl.

     It centrifugally separates condensed water, rust and dust impurities inside compressed air, fully protecting downstream solenoid valves, cylinders, vacuum ejectors and large pneumatic actuators, greatly reducing failure rate of the whole pneumatic line.

   1.  AF800: Medium large flow, port G1¼ / G1½ (1.25 / 1.5 inch)

   2.  AF900: Extra large main pipeline filter, port G2 (2 inch)

Selection & Operation Specification Notes

  1. Flow Selection Rule

     -- If total air consumption of cylinders and valve islands on single pipeline exceeds 6000 L/min, AF800 must be selected; over 12000 L/min choose AF900. Small AF200/300 cannot bear high flow, causing severe pressure drop and insufficient cylinder thrust.

  2. Bowl Selection Red Line

     -- Painting, cutting fluid oily environment, outdoor open air and explosion-proof areas are prohibited from using standard PC transparent bowl. Must switch to M/MG metal version to avoid safety hazards caused by cracking and water leakage after impact.

  3. Mandatory Rule for Vacuum Circuits
