HFZ Series Linear Guide Parallel Pneumatic Gripper
SOLH HFZ linear guide parallel pneumatic gripper is directly interchangeable with SMC MHZ2 series. It adopts dual-piston rack & pinion synchronous transmission integrated with ball linear guide for high rigidity and excellent offset load resistance. Three actuation variants are available: standard double-acting HFZ; single-acting normally closed HFSZ (spring holds workpiece when air cuts off); single-acting normally open HFTZ (spring releases workpiece upon air loss). Bore sizes range from 6 to 40 mm with repeat positioning accuracy ±0.01~±0.02 mm. Multiple mounting options include bottom tapping, side mounting and through-hole N type. Dual-side sensor grooves and built-in magnetic rings support M9 series magnetic switches for open/closed feedback. Suitable for external clamping and internal expanding gripping. Optional accessories include dust covers, high-temperature seals and NSF-H1 food-grade grease. Effective clamping force decreases with extended jaw overhang; a safety factor ≥1.5 is required during load calculation. Widely deployed on robot end effectors, 3C electronics, precision hardware, injection molding and packaging automation precision gripping stations, especially for applications requiring power-off safety hold or release and working conditions with lateral offset loads.

SOLH HFZ series is high-rigidity parallel gripper equipped with integrated roller/ball linear guide, driven by dual piston and rack & pinion synchronous mechanism. Fully interchangeable with SMC MHZ2 series.
Three operation variants available:
-- HFZ: Double acting standard type
-- HFSZ: Single acting normally closed (spring clamp, power-off holding)
-- HFTZ: Single acting normally open (spring release, power-off open) Suitable for general light & medium load precision clamping, automated assembly and robot end effector applications.
Core Structure & Operating Principle
1. Transmission: Dual piston + rack & pinion synchronous drive. Two jaws maintain perfect parallel movement without offset or deflection.
2. Guide System: Integrated roller / ball linear guide with locating pins on bottom to prevent shifting. Excellent rigidity, high repeat accuracy and strong resistance to offset load.

-- HFSZ Single Acting NC: Air supply opens jaws; spring clamps when air cut-off (power-off workpiece holding)

4. Construction: Aluminum alloy body, stainless steel jaws, built-in magnetic ring. Dual-side magnetic switch grooves; multi mounting surfaces: bottom / side / through-hole.
5. Position Accuracy: ±0.01 mm (bore 6~25); ±0.02 mm (bore 32~40), stable under high-frequency cycling.
