MHY2 Series 180° Angular Style Air Gripper:Cam Style

MHY2 Series 180° Angular Style Air Gripper:Cam Style

SOLH MHY2 cam-driven 180° wide swing pneumatic gripper is fully interchangeable with equivalent SMC models. It adopts cam transmission instead of gear mechanism, achieving maximum 180° opening angle with -3° over-close position to prevent workpiece loosening. Bore sizes cover 10/16/20/25 mm, purely double acting without single acting NO/NC variants, and repeat positioning accuracy reaches ±0.02 mm. Optimized narrow clearance construction enhances dust resistance. Four-side sensor grooves are available, and through-hole mounting is optional. Built-in magnetic rings work with M9 series reed switches to send open/closed feedback signals to PLC. Due to lever transmission, effective clamping force declines sharply with extended jaw overhang; torque verification is required during selection, and clamping arm length is recommended within 35 mm. Ideal for picking and flipping large-diameter tubular and irregular workpieces at miniature robot end effectors. MHW2 gear swing gripper is recommended if power-off holding or larger heavy-duty bore is required; MHZ2 parallel gripper is preferred for centered linear clamping.
MHT2 Series Toggle Type Air Gripper

MHT2 Series Toggle Type Air Gripper

SOLH MHT2 toggle-joint heavy-duty self-locking pneumatic gripper is fully interchangeable with equivalent SMC models. The toggle linkage dead-point structure amplifies clamping force by 3~5 times. Mechanical self-locking engages once fully closed, retaining over 80% clamping force after air loss to prevent workpiece dropping, ideal for overhead robot handling and high-safety stations. Bore sizes cover 32/40/50/63 mm, offered in standard D type and updated lightweight DZ variant. Magnetic switches (M9BW) can be mounted on four sides for flexible sensor arrangement. Equipped with high-strength alloy steel jaws and wear-resistant linkages, it supports long-term oil-free continuous operation. Swing angle is limited within 23°~28°, so workpiece clearance must be verified during selection. Widely used for automotive components, cast & forged parts, heavy-duty machine tool loading and safety fixtures for pressing equipment. Unlike ordinary parallel grippers without locking function, MHT2 is the preferred solution for heavy loads requiring anti-drop protection.
MHW2 Series 180° Angular Type Air Gripper

MHW2 Series 180° Angular Type Air Gripper

SOLH MHW2 rack-and-pinion 180° swing pneumatic gripper is fully interchangeable with equivalent SMC models. Rack & pinion gear drive enables symmetrical synchronous jaw swing, each jaw rotates up to 90° for total 180° opening, with synchronization error ≤0.1° to guarantee balanced clamping and prevent workpiece slipping. Bore sizes range from 20 to 50 mm in purely double acting configuration. Jaws stand perpendicular to the body at full opening, minimizing occupied space and facilitating mechanical avoidance and workpiece flipping. Hard-anodized square aluminum body features four-side sensor grooves for unrestricted magnetic switch installation. Optimized dust-proof sealing supports long-cycle operation in dusty workshops. Compared with cam-driven MHY2, MHW2 delivers higher load capacity and better synchronization; unlike toggle MHT2, it has no power-off self-locking but provides far larger swing angle. Widely used for flipping and handling medium-load workpieces (1~20kg), cartons, large plastic parts and loading/unloading in confined automation stations.
MRHQ Series Rotary Gripper

MRHQ Series Rotary Gripper

SOLH MRHQ vane-type integrated rotary gripper is fully interchangeable with equivalent SMC models. It integrates a vane rotary module and parallel air gripper into a single actuator, replacing split combination of rotary table plus separate finger cylinder. Overall length is shortened by roughly 20% and tubing drag interference during rotation is eliminated. Bore sizes cover 10/16/20/25 mm with standard 90° and 180° rotation versions. End stop screws enable ±10° total angular fine adjustment. The double-acting parallel jaw achieves repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.01 mm. Five mounting surfaces together with locating bosses and pin holes enable fast centering and multi-orientation assembly. Built-in magnetic rings support up to four M9 series reed switches to detect both rotary limits and jaw open/closed status for full PLC interlock control. Adopting oil-free self-lubricating structure, it is widely used for workpiece gripping, flipping and direction conversion in confined-space 3C electronics and packaging automation lines for light & medium loads from 0.1 to 5 kg. A minimum 30% safety margin is required during load selection.
HFZ Series Linear Guide Parallel Pneumatic Gripper

HFZ Series Linear Guide Parallel Pneumatic Gripper

SOLH HFZ linear guide parallel pneumatic gripper is directly interchangeable with SMC MHZ2 series. It adopts dual-piston rack & pinion synchronous transmission integrated with ball linear guide for high rigidity and excellent offset load resistance. Three actuation variants are available: standard double-acting HFZ; single-acting normally closed HFSZ (spring holds workpiece when air cuts off); single-acting normally open HFTZ (spring releases workpiece upon air loss). Bore sizes range from 6 to 40 mm with repeat positioning accuracy ±0.01~±0.02 mm. Multiple mounting options include bottom tapping, side mounting and through-hole N type. Dual-side sensor grooves and built-in magnetic rings support M9 series magnetic switches for open/closed feedback. Suitable for external clamping and internal expanding gripping. Optional accessories include dust covers, high-temperature seals and NSF-H1 food-grade grease. Effective clamping force decreases with extended jaw overhang; a safety factor ≥1.5 is required during load calculation. Widely deployed on robot end effectors, 3C electronics, precision hardware, injection molding and packaging automation precision gripping stations, especially for applications requiring power-off safety hold or release and working conditions with lateral offset loads.
HFP Series Mechanical Parallel Style

HFP Series Mechanical Parallel Style

SOLH HFP economical lever-type parallel pneumatic gripper adopts mechanical lever linkage transmission as a cost-effective lightweight gripping solution. Bore sizes cover 10/16/20/25/32 mm. Jaws close when piston extends and open on retraction; clamping force is 20%~30% higher than opening force for reliable workpiece holding. Mounting holes are available on three faces: side, bottom and rear. Built-in permanent magnets work with CS1-G magnetic switches for open/closed status feedback. Metal friction isolation plates reduce abrasion to adapt to high-cycle continuous operation. Positioned as an economical alternative to linear-guide grippers such as HFZ and MHZ2, it suits cost-sensitive light & medium load applications. Periodic grease maintenance on lever joints is recommended. Widely used for high-frequency handling of 3C plastic parts, miniature stamped hardware and small packaging components. Not recommended for conditions with persistent heavy offset loads or ultra-high precision assembly requirements.
HFY Series Air Gripper-Y Type

HFY Series Air Gripper-Y Type

SOLH HFY Y-type pivot swing pneumatic gripper serves as a cost-effective interchangeable alternative to SMC MHC2. Driven by single piston pivot linkage with lever torque amplification. Two variants are offered: double acting HFY and single acting normally open HFTY. Swing range reaches +30°/-10° with total effective swing angle around 40°. Built-in adjustable throttle valves enable independent speed regulation for opening and closing, and repeat positioning accuracy achieves ±0.02 mm. Bore sizes cover 6/10/16/20/25/32 mm. Three mounting surfaces (bottom, side, rear) are available. Built-in magnetic rings are compatible with CMSH and DS1-G magnetic switches for limit signal feedback. It is ideal for outer wrapping gripping of round, curved and irregular miniature parts under confined installation space and high-frequency light-load handling conditions. During selection, note that clamping torque decreases with extended jaw overhang; a safety factor ≥1.5 is required for load verification. Compared with original MHC2, HFY features slightly narrower swing angle yet supports three-side mounting with superior cost performance. Original MHC2 is recommended if wider swing range or power-off normally closed holding function is required.
HFR Series 180° Opening/Close Air Gripper

HFR Series 180° Opening/Close Air Gripper

SOLH HFR pivot-linkage 180° wide-opening pneumatic gripper is driven by piston linkage to rotate jaws. Each jaw swings up to 90°, forming a straight line when fully opened to provide maximum clearance and eliminate mechanical interference during pick-and-place. Bore sizes cover 10/16/20/25/32 mm with purely double acting design. The -2°~-5° overclose angle ensures stable clamping. Three mounting surfaces (side, bottom, rear) are available; locating pin holes on the base improve assembly accuracy, and suffix-N through-hole mounting is optional. All models come with built-in permanent magnets and sensor grooves compatible with CMSH magnetic switches. Optimized dust-proof jaw structure and anti-friction metal separators deliver service life over 5 million cycles for moderately dusty workshop environments. Widely used for gripping and turnover of deep-cavity workpieces, large plastic housings and box materials. MHW2 gear-driven swing gripper can be considered for medium-load applications if extreme avoidance clearance is unnecessary. A minimum 30% safety margin must be reserved during torque calculation; extended jaw overhang greatly reduces effective clamping torque.
